Sankhu, All the checkpoints entering
the city area will be sealed from today after 12 people tested positive for
corona in 290 people in Shankharapur Municipality on Thursday. A total of 290 people underwent RDT at Indrayani Health
Center, People's Life Care, Sushma Koirala Memorial Hospital and Ghumarchowk
Urban Health Center on Thursday.
Those who tested positive in RDT have been placed in the
quarantine of Bal Chhetrya Nepal in Municipality Ward No. 7.Everyone
will be kept here until the PCR test report is received. Necessary facilities
and meals will be provided by the municipality to those kept in quarantine.
The
municipality has stated that those who tested positive in RDT will be sent to
the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku for PCR test after collecting swabs
this morning. He said that the Kathmandu Valley exit checkpoints from the
municipality and other checkpoints connected to other municipalities will be sealed
from 10 am today.Until further
notice, all entrances and exits to urban areas will be completely closed.
